Quick answers to the things people ask most. If your question is not here, the how to play page covers the rules in full.
Is POACH free?
Yes. POACH is completely free to play, every day, with no paywall and no catch.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. You can just open the site and play. Your progress and best scores are saved on your own device.
Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. A fresh table goes live at midnight, and everyone in the world plays the exact same one: the same starting club, the same rivals, the same day.
Is it luck or skill?
Skill. The matches have no random element. The same choices always produce the same result, so two people who make the same decisions get the same outcome. The only thing standing between you and the title is how well you raid, and that comes down to your ball knowledge.
What teams and players are in it?
Real ones, drawn from actual Premier League seasons. The player ratings, however, are entirely our own, built from public squad facts rather than copied from any video game. There is more on the how we rate players page.
Is POACH affiliated with the Premier League or any game?
No. POACH is an independent puzzle. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League, any club, or any video game publisher. The ratings and the game are our own work.
How does the leaderboard work?
It is anonymous. Your run is ranked by the best finish you reach, against everyone else playing the same daily table. There are no names and no accounts, just scores.
Will I see ads?
POACH may show ads to keep the game free for everyone. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time. See our privacy policy for the detail.
